A fortnight or so ago Mr and Mrs Hodgkins' daughter, Polly, lost a gold signet ring bearing the motif of a wild boar (a present from her grandfather) somewhere along the route of the old railway line between Bellegarde and Escueillens. If anyone finds the ring please call the family on 04 34 21 90 74.
